"Jessica Porte has provided services for the Children’s Program at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Our organization has a yearly alumni event. Jessica facilitated an experiential, grief-centered and counseling for our adolescents. Adolescents appeared to be engaged and enjoyed Jessica’s exercises. After 13 years working in hospice, substance use disorders, community and school services, I consult with agencies and organizations that look to build better practices around how they serve children and families. I work in leadership and program development, training, and education. I’ve worked locally and nationally on projects including, research on school-based grief programs, development of resources, and national crises such as the Maui fires in 2023.

Effective leadership is defined by how leaders cope with change. It is a complementary function for managing complex systems. To lead through change requires the ability to set a direction, align people, motivate, and inspire. Wayfinder Family Co. is part of J Porte Coaching & Consulting.
